The small double rooms are located in the attic of the castle. They feature exposed roof beams and lots of character – the sloping ceilings and windows make them particularly cozy and charming.
Comfort Double Room
These rooms are mostly located on the upper floors, either in the former coach house, the rent office, or in the castle, and offer a true castle atmosphere. The rooms are lovingly furnished with antique furniture, a double bed, and seating so that you can relax and unwind during your stay.

Our individually designed suites are located in the three historic buildings on the estate: the Rentamt, the Remise, and the castle itself. Each suite has its own unique, authentic character and conveys a feeling of comfort and elegance. The furnishings consist mainly of antique furniture from various periods and valuable works of art that underline the special charm of the castle.

Maisonette
Have you always wanted to stay in a castle with two floors and a view of the castle courtyard or the valley? Then these rooms are ideal for guests who are not afraid of stairs and would like to sleep “high up.” The elegant maisonettes at Purschenstein Castle are approximately 40 m² in size and feature a living/sitting area on the lower level and a bedroom and bathroom on the upper level. These apartments are also furnished with antique furniture from different eras and works of art. This room type is not recommended for guests with walking disabilities.

Presidential Suite
The elegant Presidential Suite in the castle is approx. 72 m² in size and has a bedroom and a luxurious living/sitting area. Superior Suite
Superior suites in the castle Our two superior suites are located in the main building of the castle and combine historical style with modern comfort. Every detail has been lovingly selected – from classic style elements to high-quality amenities. One suite is located on the first floor with easy access, the second is on the second floor and offers a magnificent view over the village of Neuhausen.

Maisonette Superior
Unique in its kind and only available once in the castle, this two-story Superior Suite is located in the east wing of the castle with sweeping views over Neuhausen and the Schwartenberg. The Superior Maisonette has a spacious living room and a cozy bedroom in the upper area, lined with centuries-old beams. The bathroom is also located on the upper level and is therefore not recommended for guests with walking disabilities.

Family room
Have your children ever expressed a desire to stay in a castle and play knights or princesses? This family suite is the ideal solution. Located in our former coach house, this suite covers approximately 50 m² and has two bathrooms, framed by centuries-old beams. The historic furnishings will certainly make the “young” knights and princesses feel as if they have been transported back in time. This family suite can accommodate up to 5 people and is not suitable for people with walking disabilities as it is located on the top floor without a lift.

Purschenstein Castle is one of the oldest castles in Saxony. The castle is situated on a wonderful country estate, nestled in the wild and romantic Flöha Valley, directly on the old Bohemian Trail.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is possible from 15:00, check-out until 11:00.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Yes, dogs are very welcome. We charge 15 € per dog. Maximum two dogs per room.
Are there accessible rooms?
Due to the historical structure of the building, our rooms are not completely barrier-free. Please contact us for individual solutions.
Is there parking available at the castle?
Yes, free parking is available for our guests directly at the castle.
Is WLAN free of charge in the hotel?
